Question:

I sold my iPhone 5 with ios6 last year (I actually sold 2 phones), but it shows up on my iCloud account.

My question is: did I phone I sold became Apple ID locked when the buyer updated to ios7?

Or he is ok since I sold it to him as ios6 and the buyer probably did a restore and I do not have to contact him to ask if everything is ok?

I have decided to delete the "other" 2 phones from my iCloud account.

Thanks for your help.

I think it should be fine, as Activation Lock is in iOS7, not iOS6. So going from iOS6 to iOS7 wouldn't trigger the login prompt. If you sold an iOS7 device, however, it would request that if it was still listed in your iCloud devices. When you remove that device from the list, it won't prompt them.

Great! Thanks for your help!
