sold my 3g on ebay.. help

I sold my iPhone 3G 8GB for $220 on eBay unlocked/jailbroken..

on Saturday I'll be able to activate my iPhone 4.. what steps do I have to transfer my data to my iPhone 4 and have the 3G wiped out, unlocked/jailbroken??

- back up 3g
- activate iphone 4
- sync back up to iphone 4
- restore iphone 3g as new phone????
- unlock/jailbreak 3g.. ship out

Yes. Be sure to restore to the firmware it's currently at. You don't want to run into problems JBing/Unlocking it at a newer firmware.
