Sold my iphone 3g 8gb today on craigslist for $175.00 just met the guy and got the money!! Now my 4g will only cost me $25!!

HAPPY!!!
 
Very nice. Id do the same, but mines about as beat up as you can get. Thats pretty sweet though, man.
 
Congrats. I was going to sell mine as well. Did you give him a SIM card? How did you prep the phone before selling it?

i'll be selling a 16gb 3g and an 8gb 2g shortly. I am hoping to get at least $300 for the pair and i feel there's a good chance i can get closer to $325 or even $350, which would be awesome considering it will be about $460 for a pair of new 16GB iphone 4's.
 
Sold two on ebay for $199+$10 shipping. 3g, 8gb black not jailbroken or unlocked.

I see unlocked and jailbroken ones going for $250-$280. I'm a bit too lazy to do it to my phones even though mine is current jailbroken. I mean redo the whole process seeing as I'd completely zero out my phone before I send it out.

No it was not JB'd... I restored it to the original factory settings in itunes, then set it up as a new phone, took the sim card out and got the cash!!
 
only 175? ive seen iPhones with cracked screens go for more than $200 on ebay
 
I sold my 3G 8gb for $150 over the weekend with wifi not working. Probably could have gotten a little bit more but I'm satisfied wit the $150.
