Solid Blue Screen and faded desktop image

Hi

I am having a problem I am not sure what is causing it..

I just updated my mac pro to 10.6.6... When it rebooted, the computer boots up and I see one of the desktop wallpapers on one of the monitors then both monitors fade to blue and stay.. occasionally I will see the desktop image faintly on one of the monitors.

I have unplugged all usb devices so now the only plugged in tot he mac pro are the monitors and and ethernet cable..

UPDATE
I am able to dual boot into Vista.. but not off a CD.. I get the same phenomona when I boot from a Leopard or Snow Leopard disk...


Any ideas what is going on?
