I'm thinking about purchasing a new MacBook Pro with a 128GB SSD, however I'm wondering if it will be enough to store the OS and the Adobe Suite. I plan on storing my work on an external HD.

Anyone tried doing that?

I have the following on my 120 GB intel SSD :

OS X 10.7.2
Office For Mac 2011
CS 5.5 Master Collection -Premiere Because I use it on a different rig
25 Gb Windows 7 VM

You'll be fine. I've got 1 50GB program plus a bunch of the adobe products and I'm still under 120GB

As others have said, you'll be good. My 80gb SSD has Lion, Photoshop, After Effects, and a bunch of other stuff installed. I still have plenty of space, so you'll have even more space.

and you can always replace your optical drive with another hard drive if you need more storage space.
