Hey, can I buy any SSD and pop it in my Mac?

I was also wondering what the benefits of them are over a hard drive?
I am aware that they have no noise, are faster, and use less energy.

But I wonder, how much faster, can any applications have problems with them?

And how long do they last? and can you get them in 1GB capacity?

Does anyone know?

Kind Regards

1 GB?
A 1 GB drive?

You stated the benefits pretty much already

Opinions vary on their superiority though
For now, the cost is an issue
