I live near the beach, and lots of my stuff started going bad the past year. This is my second Mac Pro. I did not use it for 8 months. I put the CPU tray back in, now it shows a solid white light when I turn it on. Sometimes the fans go full speed. No chime, and I am unable to reset nvram using CMD opt pr.
Any ideas?

After removing GPU and all HDDs, I found it works with dual processor slot. But if I use single processor upgraded to x5690 it does not work.
I'll update this thread soon.
