Just a heads up, it appears the online in stock for solo loops aren’t 100% accurate. When picking up my series 6 I asked them if they had the solo loop I wanted. While he checked on his pos I looked on the app and it said currently unavailable but the guy said they had it. If you have a store nearby go in person, beats waiting till late October.

Quite possible that even if it showed they had it, that someone may have already snagged it via purchasing it online and choose in-store pick up. Likely the last one in stock was snagged.
I just checked apple store near me and they have the black solo loop available and I took the last one in stock, will be picking it up after work today.
I don't know how they handle it if it's inside the mall but if it's the one that is stand alone, at least the apple store near me has a protocol, where you must wear mask, temp check, they have a line for express pick up and make an appointment, and the other line is for people who have an appointment for either genius bar or for shoppoing. Of course 6 feet apart and there are lines marked on the ground where to stand. So not as packed as before and depends on location.
You need to make an appointment to go inside the store. You can’t just walk in. If you order online they have outside areas to pickup your stuff. They take your temperature, require masks and enforce social distancing Inside and outside the store.
