Hi everybody! I apologize if this is not the proper place to post this, but this seems like it may be the forum to ask for help.

So, some background info: I use a PC, and just reformatted it. Prior to my reformat, I tried to back up my iTunes library on DVDs but for some reason it kept giving me errors, so what I decided to do was just copy my iTunes folder onto my storage drive. Now, when I reinstalled iTunes and placed my old iTunes folder back into the My Music folder, it worked, but it was missing about 600 tracks because for a time, I did not have iTunes add tracks into my iTunes folder (silly me).

With this, I figured the easiest way to get all my music and apps back was just to do a reverse sync - to sync the content on my touch back to iTunes. Since I am not very iTunes literate, and since it seems iTunes never makes anything easy for me (haha), my web search led me here. To this thread, specifically: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/508499/

Now, this method was going all fine and dandy until I realize that the iPod touch lacks an "enable disk use" option...so my question is, is there a way around this, or a different method that I can use to get the content from my iPod back on my PC? Everything on my iPod is tagged perfectly with glorious album art and I would hate to have to do it all over again.

Some more technical info:

iPod: iPod Touch 16GB, 1st gen, 2.2.1 software
PC: Windows 7 Ultimate RC1, 64-Bit

I know this thread was long winded for a n00b post and I'm sorry! Thank you in advance for reading this and I would appreciate any help or advice at all!!!!
