Instead of having to reinstall or set up a new profile etc. Try these terminal commands
sudo -v
***Enter Your Mac Password***
killall -9 accountsd com.apple.iCloudHelper
defaults delete MobileMeAccount
rm -rf ~/Library/Accounts
killall -9 accountsd com.apple.iCloudHelper
***Should tell you at this point no matching processes found***
Reset the Mac. Sign into each app individual starting with Music(they might all be signed in automatically after signing into the first)
Then sign into iCloud under system preferences.
You’ll need to turn on your iCloud Drive again, your books, photo library etc via the apps\settings but this should work for you. If you have large Apple Music libraries, photo library etc I suggest letting one app at a time update.
