When I upgraded to Leopard, I lost my ability to print to my network printer connected to me Windows box. It would see the pc and the printer and everything, but when I tried to tell it what driver to use, it would give me this error:
client-error-not-authorized
So I went on the Apple support boards and found a solution that worked flawlessly for me.
When you attempt to add the printer it asks for the admin password to proceed, but for some reason this still causes problems. On there they said to log out completely and log in as an administrator, then go through and try to add the network printer again. Then once successful log out and log back in as a regular user and the printer should still be there and ready to use.
This worked for me and I hope if someone else is having the same problem it works for them too.
(you also have to have the correct drivers already installed for your printer before doing this)
Hope it helps
