Hello All,
First off, I know there are tons of responses to this issue and have been through a lot of them, but just checking to see if I am missing anything.

Here are my computer specs (not complete):
Mac Pro 2.66Ghz Intel Quad (2 dual-core chips)
4 HD's: 1 OS/APPS, 1 Media, 1 Sound, 1 Audio
16GB Ram (8x2GB)
Leopard 10.5.6
iLife & iWork '09
MS Office 2008
Parallels Desktop 3.0 (running WinXP Pro sp3)
Aperture 2
Bento 2
Logic Studio
MBox2 with ProTools 7.4.2
Finale 2009
Cubase 4
Lots of plugins: Altiverb, Ozone, EZDrummer, Trilogy, StormDrum2, GPO

I am sure there are other things, but can't remember all.

My maintenance Apps:
MacJanitor (clean out log files)
Yasu
Preferential Treatment (remove bad preference files)
Drive Genius 2
Disk Warrior 4.1.1
Rember (checking RAM)

I routinely run all the maintenance apps on all the HD's, incl. fixing file permissions, clearing out logs and corrupt preference files, rebuild directories and defrag the drives. Also, back up the main drive with SuperDuper.

I was originally on Tiger but did an Archive & Install to Leopard.

Things run generally ok, but I seem to be getting SBBOD a bit. Hard drives check out ok as does the RAM. Maintenance seems to help, but not totally resolve it.
Sometimes I can force quit the application hanging and relaunch, w/o affecting other apps, but sometime not and I have to hard boot the machine.

I have all Apple updates, and every 3rd party app, drive, plug-in, etc is the most recent and Leopard compatible.

I hate to have to wipe my drive or buy a new one and reinstall everything from scratch, as this will take forever to do.

Any other suggestions as to what to look for to resolve these SBBOD's are most welcomed.

Thanks,
Mike
