Solve freeze with 1.2.1 tiger update before leopard upgrade?

Hey there

I cant see that this question or anyone mentioning they have tried this before:

But, the essence in the article is, that Apple released the 1.2.1 update for Tiger. The point is that it have to be applied to Tiger before upgrading to leopard, obviously you can not upgrade afterwards :rolleyes: But, applying patch to Tiger before upgrading to Leopard should fix the freezing.

Now the question: Have anyone tried applying 1.2.1 to Tiger before upgrading to Leopard, and did it fix the freezing?

Im just curious, since im still waiting for my AL imac :)
