Looking for a touch screen (USB-C) that actually fully works with a mac MINI m1.
I tried the Eyoyo USB-C unit and while it works brilliantly with Windows, it falls rather short on macOS...also it is a tad big at 13"...want something closer to mac MINI size, or even a tad bigger is fine.
It is the touch operation I really need as I am using it on stage and have no room for a mouse or keyboard...well that, and the graphics from the mac do not really play out well on the Eyoyo either.
I guess even one with a HDMI might be ok, but afaik, HDMI would also need a USB cable for the UI operations...anyhoo, any ideas are welcome...at the mo I am back to using the iPad mini.
Oh and I tried Screens Connect using the iPad mini and it was a dismal failure. It connected ok but you lose so much screen real estate to allow that bar along the bottom (not needed when using touch - which it also does not do very well) that it gets too small to be able to effectively do anything (and remember this is on stage, so there is not time to dilly dally using pencils or drag enlarging to access a control etc) ....AND it must have wi-fi to work which then means I have to add yet another device (my iPhone with local hotspot) to get it to work....
All in all, I think a dedicated touch screen monitor that DOES work is going to be the best solution, hence the need to find one and the thread question
