iPhone 15 Pro Max (SOLVED! Help request for Apple Maps spoken directions

I purchased a new Pro Max about 4 weeks ago and just used it yesterday for navigation. With my previous 14 Pro Max spoken directions worked fine. But it's not working with the new device. FWIW, I'm using Bluetooth streaming to my hearing aids, but it's not available on the speaker either. I can hear (on the speaker) the first command, "proceed to the route" and then it's silent.
Any suggestions appreciated. FWIW, I've done a Google search and tried all of the suggestions and nothing works. Audio streaming for phone calls works fine.

So I did a few tests. I tried Google Maps and it does the same thing. No audio after the first instruction. Which isn’t u expected.
I then tried Ford’s Sync 4a factory navigation and it works as expected.
I just don’t know what to do next to figure this out.

With the help of Apple (via phone) customer tech support my problem has been solved. Solution was unbelievably simple. Delete the Apple Maps app and then reinstall it from the Apple Store.
Kudos for their easy and quick fix.
