I tried making a ringtone a while ago for my iphone and found this great guide that told me what the best frequencies and stuff were for the iphone so the ringtone would be loud and clear.

i can't find the guide and i'm making a new ringtone but the whole thing sounds so muffled and distorted when I move it to my phone...

Also, there's no equilizer in Garageband?

Thanks

p.s. I searched all over the forum and google.

edit:

I typed in the settings on my old ringtone into google search and found the site!

use it guys its great

I'd also like an online source of ringtones that will work on the iPhone. I know we'll be able to make our own from a lot of the purchased music from the iTunes Store, but I'm not one of the people that likes hearing song excerpts when my phone rings.

I've run across this so far, which seems decent http://macmost.com/iphoneringtones/
