[SOLVED] iPhone 3G with Micro-Sim tethering problem

I have an iPhone 3G Jb with AT&T and 2 weeks ago I got the iPhone 4 and it came with iOS 4.0.2 Which means I can't jb until 4.1 I kno it's around the corner but today I got a microsim adapter so I can use the microsim with my iPhone 3G so after putting the sim in the 3G I got signal and everything worked but when I tried to tether via USB (by going to Settings>General>Network>Internet Tethering and switch it to "On" )to my laptop running windows 7 pro nothing happened before I switched to the iPhone 4 it worked perfectly so I'm not sure if it's because it's a diff sim card or because I upgrade to iTunes 9.2 from 8.2, I hope anyone has a solution to this.

Ok I fixed the problem by doing a system restore to before i uninstalled iTunes 8.2 and that fixed the problem. I think it was either installing the iTunes 9.2 messed something up or Connecting my iPhone 4 changed the driver used for tether.
