Greets

I installed a shapeshifter trial, but oversaw that it isn't compatible with my version of the OS (Leopard). It installed fine, but now the shapeshifter logo won't disappear from the system prefs pane. I right-click on it and it tells me the icon couldn't be removed 'because an error occured'. Is there any way to get that icon away by any other means?

Open your user folder then go to Library > PreferencePanes ...

If it is there, delete it.
