The 1st picture is what texting looks like in landscape view.

This is what it looks like when you go to a site with fill in blanks. Note the autofill button.

Sure! I use Starbucks wifi using my Starbucks card information, so I'll try it with that when I go this evening :) I think that would work.

don't you automatically qualify for starbucks wifi by having att as your carrier?

I thought that was the case.

You know, I think I have heard that, but I always just log in with my Starbucks card information. I wonder if that will affect the auto-log in for wireless though? I'll have to experiment while I'm there and see.

The "double-click home button for camera" is a nice surprise. Will be very handy.

I like that too! :)

can you landscape in the settings app?? My friend has a 2G phone and the 123 and space keys dont work in the regular mode, but in landscape. So I told him that 3.0 should allow you to landscape in every app

Sadly you've misinformed your friend. It was never said that all apps will have landscape modes. In fact, there is no way to somehow magically give every app a landscape mode. The input modes/interfaces each app presents are programmed and defined on an app-by-app basis by the app itself.

What Apple has stated, and done, is attempt to provide more landscape supporting scenarios to various apps. According to Apple's own site, Mail, Messages, Notes, and Safari are getting the landscape treatment this time around. I don't doubt they'll add it in more places later, but don't expect it to just show up all over the place where it didn't exist before just because of the 3.0 update.

Anyone have success with auto fill and user/pass web fields?

Not working for me. It's on in the settings.
