Some advice please?

I've currently got an Alu iMac which I got pretty much as soon as they appeared. After a few months with it, it's a great machine, but I find I only really use it for internet, email, general office stuff. I'm now considering selling it, as I've recently had a great offer on a blackbook (2.16 C2D)

My question is this...would changing from an imac to a macbook be a really stupid move? Would I be losing out?

IMO, extra graphics power is worth it

I would definitely be saving some money in the deal, but I guess a compromised system would be frustrating in the long run.....especially if my usage changes.
