Need some advice and assistance from current users of the AEBS if possible.
I have a 100mbit fiber connection which gives me ~11MB/Sec download.
I've read some parts a review here which indicates that the AE has good WAN <> LAN throughput.
I need a stable router which won't need a reboot everyday, we have numerous APs around the house hardwired (each floor) into a switch which will then connect to the AEBS. I have a cable modem which will provide the uplink to the ISP.
In total at any one time there could be up to 20 DHCP clients, not all browsing at the same time but connected, some torrents, and mainly newsgroup downloads from 2 of those.
What I want to confirm as I'm not sure whether the AE has the following...
- UPNP, Firewall Open Ports to Internal IP, Dynamic DNS,
- Anyone using a 100mbit+ Internet connection with their AE?
- I assume there isn't a newer revision just around the corner?
At the moment I'm using a TPLink + DDWRT.
