OK, this might sound stupid, but it's being bothering me for a while.
In Mail, when you make a note or to-do, you have the option of creating it on your mac or on MobileMe (if you're a member). However, I simply don't understand the difference it makes.
(For reference, I use MobileMe mainly to sync my info between my mac and iPhone without having to physically dock the phone).
For instance, why would I create an iCal event in a MobileMe calendar (on my mac) when it syncs events anyway over MobileMe?
Hopefully this is making some kind of sense. Basically, the way I see it we should just create notes, to-do's etc on our devices, and they should just automatically appear on all the other devices. So why is there the option to create them "on your mac" or on "MobileMe?" when they sync across anyway?
