My 42mm SS arrived yesterday morning (weird UPS delivered at 10am). I've had some time to play with it so here are some observations.
- If you send an animated emoji from the watch it DOES appear on iPhones and other non Apple watch devices in its entirety.
- Don't be alarmed by the clicking sound/feeling of the taptic engine when you are setting up its strength because an incoming notification does not click in that manner. Not sure why the setup is different. I thought my taptic engine was broken for some reason.
- If the watch is not on your wrist don't expect notifications to come. This also applies if you are actively on your phone at the time of a notification.
- The heart rate monitor is not accurate if the watch is worn close to your wrist.
- You need to re-add each debit/credit card for Apple pay on the watch separately.
- The stop watch complication in the Chronograph watch face works in a unique way compared to the other complications. When you press it the stopwatch begins. When you press stop and then reset it returns back to the watch face.
If I remember more I'll add later.
