some apps work and some dont

im confused. i have a iphone 3G and a ipt. however, apps such as ny times and hanoi work on my touch but not the iphone. on the iphone, it will just crash back to home screen when launching app

any idea why this would be happening?

Likely something is corrupted. Restore the phone and see if that fixes it.

Well, before that, simply delete the application, turn off the iPhone, then turn it back on and reinstall.

If that doesn't work, then yes, restore.

just weird as only those apps wont work and all the rest do

ill try turning it off reputting it on
