ok, so with my imac on the way, and christmas around the corner, i've been looking for some cool accessories and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion, something that is really cool, and will compliment the computer well.

Keyboards are really awesome! :p
Hmm.. Heard of a radioshark? If you want to record and listen to radio through your mac.
LaCie Hard drives are nice
LaCie Lightscribe burners are cool
USB/FW hubs?

A nice set of speakers. Soundsticks are good sounding and attractive. Do the new iMacs support 5.1 sound? If so something a little more elaborate than the soundsticks then.

**EDIT**
beaten
damn dial up

USB Flash Drive
Altec FC 6021 speakers
Headphones
Logitech MX518 mouse
Blank CDs/DVDs

Multibutton mouse (if you havent already got one)
Some games (altho x600 series isn't that great...)
Maybe a joystick if you do any flying games.
Also some sort of tv/video in, watching tv on a large screened imac would be sweet

I wouldn't get speakers - I'd get a cable to plug it into your stereo (if I had a proper stereo that is). And a LaCie harddrive is a good idea too.

I didn't see any iPod listed in the OP's sig. (probably an oversight for someone with that many macs). Maybe a lock on your door to keep less fortunate mac users out:cool:

 yeah...i realize i'm quite fortunate to have owned/still own many-a-mac, i am definitely looking at the new ipod, i have the old 15Gb 3G one and i think its time to upgrade, the battery's startin to go on it. anyways thanks for the great ideas so far, i like the idea of the radioshark, and i also want some decent speakers, i have some amazing ones right now, they're altec-lansing. anyone recomend a NIIICE set of speakers that can handle really LOUD music well without faltering. also, i don't need a LaCie drive, 250GB internal on the imac is WAAAAAAYYYY more than enough. i'm currently getting by just fine (a liiiiittle struggle) with 60GB internal on my PB (main comp thats why) and an external 40gb hotdrive

well i'm probably getting the new ipod for christmas, so no point in replacing battery. RAM, i bought 1.5GB apple RAM *shudder* but only for the convenience that everything was installed when i got it and i wouldn't have to do nething
