Hi everyone.

I've searched around the forums and this seems to be unique to me but apologies if it's already been posted.

I'm running a Mid 2011 iMac with 12GB Ram. Was running fine on Mavericks and did a standard upgrade install through App Store.

Yosemite and itunes were almost unusable. Laggy. Constant Crashes. Etc.

As all my data is in dropbox or on external drives I just went and did a hard disk wipe and clean install. Works beautifully now.

I have 4 external hard disks. Two of them have the new flatter Yosemite icons. And the other two have the old Macericks icons. Very annoying. Restarting and mounting and remounting has no effect. The drives in question still show old icons.

I know I can just find or download the new icon and change it manually but I'm concerned that this may indicate some problem with the hard drives?

Anyone else experience this or have an explanation?

Thanks
