Some forum threads lock up my browser!!

Some forum threads lock up my browser, it's odd I can replicate the same thread and page. Pg. 4 of the iwatch thread, and the first page of the fashion industry comments on iwatch thread. I go to them and macrumors just locks up and eventually crashes my tab.

This is on windows 8 in IE11.

I was just about to make a thread about this. I've had to stop using Chrome. I'm on latest version of Chrome in Mavericks and the Mr. front page causes Chrome to crash. Not sure if it is some aspect of the site? An ad? or something my end?
