Apps Some iCloud Calendar events not syncing to watch

I’ve seen this a few times in the past, but always forgot about it after the fact, but it came up again today, so figured I’d reach out to see if anyone else has seen this.

Occasionally iCloud events (within the next 7 days) will just not show up on my watch. They show up on my mac, my ipad, my iPhones & at icloud.com, but not on my watch. I’ve tried to figure out what the common feature of the events is, but I can’t find any.

I am helping out at a charity walk on Saturday & I added all of the ‘events’ to my calendar & the ‘set-up’ event shows up on my watch, but the ‘registration’, ‘opening ceremony’ ‘event kickoff’ and ‘closing celebration’ events don’t show up.

I suppose one way to fix the issue, at least temporarily’ might be to remove my calendar from my watch and then reload it, but while that might restore this weeks events, it still makes me uneasy about relying on my watch long-term. I only happened to notice this one because so many items were missing.

I’m curious if anyone else has seen this & if so, how. They were able to fix it. I have restarted the watch, but at this point, I have not removed & re-synced my calendars to my watch.

Interestingly enough, removing the calendar from my watch & putting them back on did not fix the problem, but changing the calendar they are associated with (I have several- work, personal, spouse, etc) makes them show up on the watch, and then if I move them back to the original calendar, they still show up).
