do you find that you enjoy your iphone given the expensive price per month??

My verizon 2 year agreement is up and i have wanted an iphone for the last few months and now is my chance!!! Thank you.

I'm fighting the Babes off all the time...

and though I have (2) iPhones and (1) Blackberry and (1) Motorola KRZR, with all the extras, my bill averages out to about $65 per person. That's acceptable to myself and the other three people on my family plan. Actually, the Blackberry is $29.99 data plan v. iPhone's $20.00 per month, so that's $10.00 a month I should shift over to the BB person!!! Get the iPhone and join us!

thanks. i am actually a teenager who has payed for my phone since i was 16. my take on this is if im going to be paying for a monthly bill i mine as well pay a little extra for something that i will really enjoy

i commend you for being so responsible-- are you paying for the phone also?

you will truly enjoy it-- and as other have said, it is worth it:D

yes i am also paying for the iphone also. im pretty stoked! is it a very hard process to port a verizon # over to your iphone upon activation??

I actually only gained about $3 on my bill when I upgraded to my iPhone. I dropped the $9.99 data plan, $4.99 for the 200 texts, and $2.99 for insurance (added it to my homeowners insurance plan at no additional cost), then added the $20 iPhone plan. Worked out pretty evenly.

Being a current AT&T customer I wouldn't know, it took me less than 3 minutes.

But I've heard it's pretty quick (half-hourish at most?) to port over numbers from other companies (typically).

I love it and actually saving about $30-$40 a month I was paying to Sprint. With that in 10 months it about paid for itself :)

I love my iPhone and highly recommend it. I will give you one piece of advice before you purchase though... make sure you are aware of and happy with the features the iPhone currently has. Too many people have come on these boards and complained about the iPhone lacking something because they didn't do their research first. If you like what it has and it suits you, buy it and enjoy.

Well said sir. Last thing we need is another whiner.

Easy process. When you activate it through iTunes, just pick the correct option for porting your number. Although AT&T said it could take up to [however many hours or days they told me, I forget] for the iPhone to be activated with my number, I was able to correctly make and receive calls with no problems in about 5 minutes. Painless. I also made the switch from Verizon. Was the best cellular move I've made EVER, and will be for you too (provided the service coverage for both carriers is about the same in your area). ;)

If you have an AT&T Mobility store near you, they'll do it for you. Be sure to bring your prior phone number and account number. (I'm not certain if you could do it yourself through iTunes.)
