Hi all, I got a really weird issue here. My business partner has a 2015 pimped out retina 15” MacBook Pro. At the office, we are in the process of replacing our internet service provider. At the moment, we have both of them running. (Bell and cogeco 🇨🇦, Not That it matters)
All websites and internet related applications work like a charm on his machine with the old ISP. As soon as he switches over to the SSID of the new one, half of his usual websites won’t load, speed test doesn’t work. Everything works like a charm with both ISPs on all our phones, 4 other macs and 2 iPad Pros. It’s only his computer and it’s gonna drive me nuts. I was suspecting a firewall setting or something, but can’t seem to find a solution
Anyone ever seen something similar?
As soon as you flip it over to the new ISP’s ssid, “safari can’t find the webpage”. If I try pinging the non-responsive sites from terminal, I get a “no route to host”. Issue was present before upgrading to big sur, I was hoping it’d miraculously disappear with upgrade.
Thanks
