If you have been experiencing issues with paying off your Apple Card today, you are not alone, as complaints are starting to mount online.

As noted by Aaron Zollo, host of the YouTube channel ZolloTech, some users attempting to make a payment towards their Apple Card are receiving an "Account Services Unavailable" error that says "Apple Pay services are currently unavailable."

Apple has since updated its system status page to confirm there are Apple Card issues, noting that some users may not be able to apply for an Apple Card, add an Apple Card to the Wallet app, or pay their bill.

Update: Apple's system status page now says the issues are resolved.

Just had an issue with Apple Card on my Apple Watch at the grocery store. The reader communicated with my watch but then took funds from my Apple Cash instead. It didn't have enough to cover the order so it declined the balance. I tried my Apple Card again from my watch and it appeared to approve, however the transaction has not showed up in my wallet yet. Thought I did something wrong until I saw this post.

Can't even pay a simple bill wtf. There needs to be a redundancy system in place for these digital payments so that the computers that run the system won't fail time after time. I don't mean sending in a check either. Trillion $ company can't even manage their bread and butter payment system properly. FFS ?

I used my Apple card with Apple Pay at a gas station 10 minutes ago and it worked fine.

I was able to submit a payment but it just shows as “pending” and I’m getting told I have to make an additional payment. There’s the response I got.

Not really encouraging.

I also found that apple pay via watch will fail if there is a wallet agreement update you haven’t opened and clicked on the “agree” button. Dumb.

Neither my wife or I can make our payments thru the wallet app on the phones. We also cannot log into card.apple.com. I tried card support thru the wallet app and it routed me to apple technical support instead of Goldman Sachs which is not the norm. Once I saw it start blowing up on Twitter I let it go

Could this be an attack from Russia? Or just an inept Apple/Mastercard website issue?
What? Look at my post above. They said they’re running a software upgrade.

Why would Russia risk hacking a credit card company? Oh wow, let’s mess with a niche group of Apple users.

Another Apple Card issue, shocking lol. I closed mine because they’re the only bigger lender who has multiple issues. Even if it’s only 1-3 times per year that 1-3 more times than any of my other cards have had issues.

I don't know, you tell me... It's not as if they haven't hacked a credit card company before. (Not saying they're responsible this time).

You should make a habit of paying bills a few days in advance of the due date. **** happens and sometimes payments can be delayed. I pay my monthly bills a week in advance and this has saved my bacon many times over the years.

I have been having a similar issue for months. I try to pay my bill, it just times out. The way I get around it is to reboot the phone, then it works fine. (My issue seems to be more of a local issue. The broader problem looks as if it is server related.)

I opened the Wallet app and my Apple Card was gone! Huh?

I added it back again, I didn't have payoff problems, and everything seems normal now. But I have no idea what happened to cause that.

Since it was a feature, I’ve had my Apple Card settings set to automatically pay my full balance at the end of each month. Today I was charged interest because my payment was not made.

Did the new iOS update clear out everyone’s autopay settings…?
