Recently I took off my Spigen Ultra Clear case from my 12 Mini to swap SIM cards. Then afterwards, before putting back on the case, I cleaned the inside area of the case with a cloth and then I cleaned the back side of the phone to make sure that no smudge or lint remains on the phone and from the case. It appeared no lint was there after putting back on the case.

I keep my phone inside my jean pocket when I head outside.

Is it normal to have a small amount of lint to get inside the case?

It’s not a scratch as I checked with a magnifying glass.

Sure - lint gets everywhere. Phone cases - even snugly fitting ones - aren't hermetically sealed. While obviously it will reduce the amount of lint that gets onto the sides and back of the phone, it won't eliminate it.
