Some .Mac Family Pack Questions

Hello,

my situation is as follows: I live with my parents, planning to go to University (different city, new appartment), so there are some questions I'm looking for answers for.

1. Prolonging .Mac online requires a credit card. Is buying a new box (Apple Store, Amazon, whereever) also capable for prolonging?
2. Once I'm moved, are members of a .Mac family membership able to have different postal addresses? Is information about the location necessary for .Mac anyway?

Uh, and one more thing:

I'm already owning a test membership using my wished .Mac name. Are there any possibilities to cancel my test account in order to use this name for a new account?

If you buy a retail box with a code, you can enter that code online instead of using a credit card.
