Some Magic Mouse gestures not working?

I am not able to bring up Mission Control with my Magic Mouse via Double-tap with two fingers. Similarly, no matter what application I try to use it with, Smart Zoom doesn't work either.

Yes, I have these boxes checked in Mouse preferences. Anyone else having this problem?

I have the exact same problem with my magic track pad. The track pad on my MBP works just fine. The bluetooth track pad doesn't. Is anyone else having this issue. Very frustrating - $65 for a piece of Apple hardware that isn't compatible with Apple software.

I called Apple Care and they knew what the problem was right away. You're not supposed to click on those gestures, just tap. So, to Get Mission Control you tap your magic mouse with 2 fingers. Not enough force to actually click, just enough to lightly tap the top of the mouse.

It works! Yay!
