Ugggh. My brother is buying a fake iPhone. I just don't get why people just don't go out any buy the real thing. The fakes can't compare to a real iPhone. They will always just be wanna bes.

Yuck. Looks like a decent replica of an iPhone on the front, but the back looks like they slapped on a 1970s era pocket calculator.

well, if anyone wants to put a collection together, i live around the corner, i'll go buy it and give the feedback on it, and then pass it around via UPS.

As been said a million times, the knock offs:

- do NOT run the iphone os
- cheap material
- low capacity battery
- mostly not quad band (if not quad band, does not work with all gsm carriers)
- crappy processor -> slow program response
- no multi touch on most models
- no touch on many models, many require using stylus or buttons
- no wifi
- low resolution camera (often called 2MP, but can be crappy VGA sensor interpolated)
- odd looking
- difficult to use (unintuitive software)
- no itunes support (no smart playlist, etc)
- no warranty
- no support
- no apple app store

Wow, this is really funny, and the guy is selling them at 200 each, for that price you can get a real iPhone, albeit a 3G, but come on. He can't honestly believe that he's going to be able to sell these now.

consultant.. i wasn't saying that this is a worthy competitor.. but i would LOVE to get one or all, play with them, and pass them on to the next tech geek.. just to see.
