I really like FF, and I really like the plug-ins. I hope there is a theme to skin it like Safari. Then it would be pretty sweet. Thanks for the pics!

Where can I go to make sure I am updated on all of the new beta releases?

Firefox all looks nice

Great, thanks, jw why is it called minefield, thats what firefox is calling itself when I DLed firefox-3.0b2pre.en-US.mac.dmg

its the codename. do keep a copy of official firefox 2.0.0.x just in case.

When is FF 3 due out for the Mac. It finally looks like I'll be switching. I use Camino now, but this is a step ahead.

Any release date on this?

no, My guess is Jan or Feb. of 08.

Im happy with its pre beta now since adblock+ works, users who rely heavily on extension might want to wait until beta is officially out.

Here's an interesting blog post about the possible visual changes in store for firefox 3.

see my #4 post in this threat, its not even mockup anymore, its available for downloading, I generally feel leopard to be too dark, so is this theme..

Yeah, I saw that but I wasn't sure if it was related or not. I haven't really been following ff3, your thread just reminded me of that blog post I read a few weeks ago.

While similar I like the theme from the blog I linked to more than how it's developed as seen in your post.

try the iFox theme. I've been using it for a few years, even before I knew what safari was! looks pretty similar too.

No integration with keychain though?
please don't, i need it to remember multiple passwords in many websites. if firefox begins to use keychain, i probably will need to use opera more then

I just cant get myself to like Firefox no matter how hard i try. I have Opera set up in such a way that replicating it on firefox has become a constant search for plugins... I think Opera damaged my perceptions of a browser.

how stable is this pre-beta? good enough for everyday use? and i heard installing FF3 can wreck FF2 files, is this true?
