Toms Hardware is reporting that various Kaby Lake Refresh (the 8XXX-U series CPUs) are being discontinued, from October.

The particular models of CPU Apple uses in the 13 inch MBP are not on the list, but they are essentially the same, plus an Apple special order of eDRAM added.

Just another data point that suggests imminent refresh/replacement of the 13 inch MBP, as I doubt Apple wants to continue to use a CPU which it will soon no longer be able to purchase.

Yeah there tons of signs that the 13" is getting updated really soon. Plus there's too many people reporting on this
