EDIT: 2nd gen

Just wanted to share some photos of my new 4th gen and my 3rd gen iPod Touch.
All taken with another 4th gen... nah just kidding ;)

Already some scratches on the new one. And I even managed to drop it to the floor once, from 2 feet.
My heart stopped for a second... but the wooden floor near the wall absorbed some of the energy I hope. It slips easier than the 3rd gen.

I've dropped my ipod touch 3 times. First was I was laying on my back and the corner hit my chest, it actually hurt haha. Wasn't too worried with that one. Next was out of my hand, hit a table (End table and couch was the place), hit the couch and then fell to the underside and hit the metal of the tables bottom rack. I almost died, but there were no scratches on it. Third time was on the hard wood floor with no issue.

I had my 3rd gen for months and I didn't drop it this much,

edit, nice 2nd gen ipod touch. :p lol

Haha I just notices that it was a 16gb and I was like wait a minute those are only 2nd gen but it doesn't matter. Same exact body style. I'll upload some pics of my new 4th gen for the hell of it in a minute.

Notice how the 4th gen screen is much darker than the 3rd gen when they are off. It looks alot better, but I wonder why that is? Is it because it is a retina display? If so, does the IP4 also look that dark when off?

Yah, I did notice. It kinda blends in with the inactive screen. I would think it is because of a new type of glass, or maybe the retina display. Are they using Gorilla Glass or something?
