Hello,

As a long time mac user, people always comment about this app and how wonderful it is. I remember using it when i first got my mac in 2005 and didn't understand the difference between QS and spotlight; however, now i do.

But, alas, i have a new caveat. Right now i use QS to launch applications, do tasks, etc. and continue to use Spotlight to "search" for documents, music, photos, etc.

How can i make QS my spotlight replacement, that is use the search capabilities of spotlight in QS.

Likewise is there any "modules" for QS for adium?

If you map the keyboard shortcut to that of spotlight and turn off spotlight itself it will work in exactly the same way.

but it wasn't doing it when i tried.

for instance when i pressed control+space and type in "lupe fiasco" i want it to give me all files associated with lupe fiasco like spotlight but it doesn't do this, it tries to find webpages in my bookmarks

so how can i basically have it search my finder for all the files containing lupe fiasco.
