Some questions regarding Alfred

I`ve just recently started using Alfred 2 and i really like the app, however, i have run into some issues and could need some help.

1. Everytime i start the app, i get a popup message where Alfred is requesting access to my contacts. It doesn`t matter if i approve or deny the request, it will still ask for the access the next time i open Alfred.

This is kind of annoying, anyone know how to remove this popup?

2. I also get a app update popup message asking me if i want to update to the new version, i checked the settings for Alfred but couldn`t find an option to disable auto update.
How should i do to turn this off?

This is often seen when using a Keygen to activate Alfred. The official way to fix this is to buy the app. If you have purchased the App then contact the makers of Alfred for a fix. Alternatively I have seen where some people are able to generate a self signed cert to fix the issue.

It is recommended to allow Alfred to auto-update. I can really only think of one reason to not allow it to update, what was mentioned above, but to disable it open Alfred's preferences, Click Update and from here you can disable it.

1. Try unchecking Contacts here so Alfred does not try to search your contacts. (Although I don't know why you don't want to allow this?)
