Hi all, long time reader - first time poster.
I have an issue when playing certain songs on my iPhone. When playing, some songs randomly start to play a random section of the next song in the album before completely finishing the current song.
For example, the A$AP Rocky album - LONG.LIVE.A$AP
Track 6 (Pain) plays ok in its entirety.
Then track 7 (F**kin Problems) starts to play as expected.
Near the end of track 7 (about 12-14 seconds from the end) a random section section of track 8 (Wild For The Night) immediately starts playing. While this is happening the last few seconds are ticking down on screen while displaying the track 7 song info but its actually playing a random section of track 8. Once the 12-14 seconds have elapsed it will then display the track 8 song info on screen (but start from the 14 second mark) - even though its not currently playing that part of the song.
The songs play totally fine on iTunes and other software - its just the iPhone that has problems. I rebuilt my iTunes library, restored the phone to factory settings etc but no luck resolving it.
one thing I have noticed is that while playing the last 14 seconds of track 7 (when it's actually playing a random section of track 8) if I switch on the shuffle button it will then start playing the correct 14 seconds of track 7. Turning off shuffle again then resumes the playing of the random section of track 8.
