I don't know if this really matters, but I noticed at the Apple store that the new Hard drives are 3 Gigabit, compared to the old ones at 1.5 Gigabit. I'm not sure if this has to do with the 7200 RPM, or if they are using better hard drives. Also, I noticed the super drive is now connected via SATA, while on the previous ones it is not(I'm not sure how it was connected). I also completely brought the MBP to it's knees. I switched it to use the dedicated GPU, it logged out and logged back in fine. I moved the mouse down around the dock to look for something that uses the GPU and bam. The screen turned white, turned black, then continued to boot up as if I turned it off then on. I presume this is because they didn't install the latest update?
Anyway, hopefully mine will ship soon. I don't know if any of this means anything I just thought I would let everyone know my experience.
