Some UI elements have suddenly turned choppy on integrated graphics (Mid 2012 15inch)

Hi there - UI performance was buttery smooth on lion (and in ML up until just last night for some reason). For some reason now mission control and launchpad are choppy when running on integrated graphics. Anyone have the same problem?
