There has been some ongoing work about getting OS 9 working on some G4 systems that Apple sold as OS X only.
The G4 Mini is a nice little machine to run OS 9 on, and we've been able to get Graphics Acceleration working if you feel the need to fire up some old classic games that never got ported to OS X. Also useful for 2D acceleration.
Also, for users of tower G4's we have a ROM Maker for NV25( GeForce 4 TI ) PC Cards. As that is the fastest Graphics card that gives Acceleration under OS 9. I've had good luck with the Gainwood Dual DVI GeForce 4 Ti 4600 in my Quicksilver.
