Some videos wont sync to iPad

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and an iMac (late '09). Through an app called Kies, I am able to sync the videos I take with the Galaxy with iPhoto because Kies converts them into mp4 format.

However, when I sync my iPad 2 with iTunes, some of the videos sync and some do not; yet they're all in mp4 format. Why is this? What can be done to fix it?
