Ok my iPhone has a crack and silencer is loose and switches in my pocket. A worker at apple brought it to a genius and i can get it replaced but he told me i would loose texts and notes. But dont those get backed up when you back up on itunes? Anyone know if this is true? Thanks.

They do get backed up when you do the backup in iTunes.

As soon as you get your replacement, just sync it with your backup!

Text msgs, notes, games saved scores, pictures on your camera roll, WEP passwords, WiFi passwords, alarm settings, ringtone settings and anything else not saved in your last backup will be LOST forever. iTunes, iPhoto, contacts, CALendar, and ringtones stay intact...
