After my son cleaned up some stuff on my iBook (the $999 one with the non-removable battery and OSX), when I tried getting into e-mail and Safari, I got a message saying, "Someone else is using your account." I shut it down and tried again several times, getting the same message. Eventually the message stopped popping up, but I can't get either e-mail or Safari.

I pulled out my old laptop to try, and it gets both with no problem.

I went into network diagnostics and had no trouble all the way past PPoE. At the next step, where it asked for my service provider account name and password, I tried both my Mobileme and my ISP names and passwords, but in both instances I got kicked back to the PPoE page.

any ideas out there as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
