I recently just finally updated my 2009 Macbook Pro to Snow Leopard (currently version 10.6.8) in order to be able to update to Lion when I have the money. And now I have this issue! I've been following every troubleshooting directions I can find, going in Audio MIDI, downloading apps, I deleted the plist files, reset PRAM, SNC, etc. etc. I can't get my preferences to stop doing this:

I didn't have this problem in Leopard!
