I saw a tutorial once about newsstand that you can put it into a folder on ios 6 and I still think it works on ios 6.1.3 but I can't remember it anymore, can someone show me how? and No! I don't want to use windows apps to hide newsstand, thanks.

IDK if there is a way on 6.1.3, but you can use pass hack for passbook to hide newsstand. After restarting, the icon will reappear.

I just put it in a folder named unused apps and moved it to the last page. Never see if. Simple and effective.

I don't think it is quite that simple. With 6.1.3 and prior I have been unable to move Newstand into a folder and I am not alone in that. There may be a way to do it but not as simple as just moving it to a folder. Moving it to the last page was good enough in my case.

Is this what you were looking for.
