hi guys im new to this site and new to mac and i was wondering if you could help me with iChat.

Heres my problem:
I have freinds who have emails ending in @googlemail.com
friends who's emails end in @AOL.com
freinds who have .me accounts.
And friends who use MSN.

so as you can see my freinds are pretty spread out.

so far ive found out MSN is a no-go zone for i chat so ive downloaded MSN for mac.

ive got a @AOL account and an @googlemail

now i would like to use iChat to video and text chat with my other friends. How do i do this? ive tried adding all m accounts in the preferences. ill try and upload a screenshot of what i get.

i think this works:

Use Jabber in iChat to talk to your google friends and AIM in iChat to talk to your AOL friends. Loose your msn friends, they're not worth it.

install Chax which will allow you to merge all contacts into one window. Adium is a great app with lots and lots of protocols, but iChat is just so much nicer looking and a better experience.
